Where can I get supplies?
The town of Arden is 10 minutes north and has a gas station/convenience store/chip truck just north of the town. If you need gas and a few essentials it is perfect.

The village of Tamworth is 25 minutes south and has a grocery store, LCBO, gas station, bakery, café and other amenities. visit www.tamworth.ca for more information
The town of Sharbot Lake is 25 minutes to the north East and has a grocery store, Beer Store, LCBO, gas stations, hardware store and other amenities. Visit www.sharbotlake.com for more information.
We supply recycling facilities and encourage all of our guests to minimize the amount of packaging they bring up.
Is the Water Drinkable?
We drink the water and it tastes great! The well is located on the property and fitted with a UV light and filter.
Bringing your own Boat?
You are invited to bring your own boat as Horseshoe lake is perfect for water sports. We recommend all boats under 20' as the lake is not that large. There is a boat launch located .5 km away or three cottages down the road within sight of our beach.
Open Area
There are three cottages located on the property that share a communal beach, docks and play area. The ground is flat and easy to navigate for small children and elderly. There is a play structure with swings and a slide for young children. We encourage all guests to enjoy the open space while being respectful of other renters and our family.
Games
Horseshoe pits, badminton/volleyball net, Frisbee are provided. There is ample room for bocce ball, croquet, ring toss etc...

Heating and Cooling
Each cottage has an electric fireplace in the main room which will heat the cottage in the spring/fall. there are ceiling fans located in each bedroom and living area.
